Day 1 : Arrival to San Jose

A representative from a car rental company will meet you at the Juan Santamaría International Airport and provide transportation to the Car Rental office to pick up a Daihatsu Terios 4x4. Then, you are off to drive to San Ramon, where your cloud forest lodge awaits you!
Los Angeles Cloud Forest Private Biological Reserve is a unique experience for birdwatchers. The cloud Forest seems a mystical being; an alien presence shrouded in a cloud of mystery that is the habitat to a variety o flora and fauna similar to Monteverde. The air currents from the Northern plains join with the Pacific and Atlantic to fuse over Villa Blanca, creating the rare climatic conditions for a Cloud Forest.

Day 2 : Canopy Tour

After breakfast enjoy the Canopy tour, a cloud forest adventure located next to the hotel. You'll observe the exuberant flora and fauna while enjoying the canopy that hosts a variety of bird species in this unique Ecosystem.
In the afternoon take a Horseback Riding tour to a dairy farm, departing from the horse stables located next door on Finca Julieta, the picturesque dairy farm of the previous president and first lady, Rodrigo and Estrella Carazo. The trail enters the farm through the Cameroon dairy grass pastures. The pasture affords a great opportunity for bird watching on a horseback trail adjacent to the Los Angeles Private Biological Reserve.

Day 3 : San Ramón-Tamarindo, Guanacaste

Tamarindo is among the most popular vacation destinations in Costa Rica! Besides surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, jet skiing, horseback riding and scuba diving, you can visit the nearby wildlife refuge of Diriá, as well as the Marino Las Baulas National Park, where leatherback turtles come every summer to nest and breed. Daily tours are available to other fun and interesting destinations such as the Palo Verde National Park and Rincon de la Vieja National Park.

Two BIG BOATS….now operating out of Tamarindo and Playas del Coco, Costa Rica.
The Marlin Del Rey is a 66 foot sailing catamaran that has no match for size, comfort or service. Its sister catamaran is the 65 foot MARLIN. Both are capable of reaching speeds of 25 knots under sail, they have the power to travel farther and faster than any other boat in Central America. Capable of carrying 75 passengers (we have a license for 90 but limit the number of passengers to 75), Marlin Del Rey and MARLIN are Costa Rica’s Rolls Royce of day charter sailing catamarans.
We offer daily sailing charters from Tamarindo and Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. We are also available for private charters anywhere along the Guanacaste Coast. Our tours include snorkeling, kayaking, diving, fishing or just plain relaxing. Included in price is an open bar and a light lunch.
