CLOUD FOREST AND BEACH GETAWAY

Both nature and beach lovers will find plenty to do in this amazing package! Start with a visit to the cloud forest for a dose of bird watching and of Costa Rica small town and farm culture, and then continue to the wonderful and golden Ocotal Beach, well known for great sport fishing and scuba diving.

Day 1 : Arrival to San José

A representative from a car rental company will meet you at the Juan Santamaría International Airport and provide transportation to the Car Rental office to pick up a Daihatsu Terios 4x4. Then, you are off to drive to San Ramón, where your cloud forest lodge awaits you!
Los Angeles Cloud Forest Private Biological Reserve is a unique experience for birdwatchers. The cloud Forest seems a mystical being; an alien presence shrouded in a cloud of mystery that is the habitat to a variety o flora and fauna similar to Monteverde. The air currents from the Northern plains join with the Pacific and Atlantic to fuse over Villa Blanca, creating the rare climatic conditions for a Cloud Forest.

Day 2 : Canopy Tour

After breakfast enjoy the Canopy tour, a cloud forest adventure located next to the hotel. You'll observe the exuberant flora and fauna while enjoying the canopy that hosts a variety of bird species in this unique Ecosystem.
In the afternoon take a Horseback Riding tour to a dairy farm, departing from the horse stables located next door on Finca Julieta, the picturesque dairy farm of the previous president and first lady, Rodrigo and Estrella Carazo. The trail enters the farm through the Cameroon dairy grass pastures. The pasture affords a great opportunity for bird watching on a horseback trail adjacent to the Los Angeles Private Biological Reserve.

Day 3 : San Ramón-Ocotal Beach, Guanacaste

Drive on your own heading up North to the Guanacaste Province. Duration 4 hours approximately
The northwest region of Costa Rica is famous for stunning beaches, biological reserves and national parks. This dry tropical province boasts a perfect climate for outdoor adventure and exploration. Farms and cattle lands found here provide a striking counterpoint to the humid tropics found further south in this diverse country.

Day 4-6 : Leisure Time!

You can go sport fishing, scuba diving!
Enjoy a Sunset Sailing Experience the evening before departure to San Jose!
Set sail to explore the coastline! While we wait for the Pacific Ocean Sunset and its breathtaking colors, seek for dolphins, turtles and jumping manta rays. Indulge yourself with gourmet snacks and cocktails surrounded by the sounds of the sea and relaxing music on board.

Day 7 : Guanacaste-San Jose
