The most expedite route to Playa Cocalito is to take the Paquera ferry-boat from Puntarenas. It is located 8 km south of Playa Tambor. We recommend to use a four wheel drive vehicle. Playa Cocalito is located in a coastline jutting vertically and forms a ravine with a nice waterfall.
