Playa Buena Vista is located 4 kms northwest of Sámara Beach. It is better to travel there by means of a four wheel drive vehicle, since some portions of the access road are rough. The beach has moderate waves and abundant littoral vegetation. At the northern end there is the Ciego Estuary and at the southern end the Buena Vista River.
