The Costa Rica Traveler, by Ellen Searby. Windham Bay Press, Box 1198, Occidental, CA 95465. This book and "The New Key to Costa Rica" are guidebooks for tourists as well as locals.

Escape from America, by Roger Gallo. Available from: http://www.escapeartist.com. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to relocate overseas. It has the answers to all of your questions plus profiles of the best countries in which to live. We recommend this book highly.
