Understanding the Metric System

If you plan to live in Costa Rica, it is in your best interest to understand the metric system. You will soon notice those automobile speedometers, road mileage signs, the contents of bottles, and rulers are in metric measurements. Since you probably didn't study this system when you were in school and it is almost never used in the U.S., you could become confused.
