Playa Nosara is located southwest from the town of Nicoya and is accessed through the route that leads to Sámara. Joining Ostional and Guiones Beaches it constiutes the Osional National wildlive Preserve, whose ravines, rocky plateaus and coastal lowlands are drained mostly by the Nosara River.
