The front entrance to the house is framed by hibiscus and other tropical plants, such as sweet smelling ginger, heliconias, etc. There is a shower and foot faucet to rinse off the beach sand. Also visible is one of the sliding doors at the entrance to the kitchen/patio area, plus the all-important "power" hammock. |

This shows
the air-conditioned 14' x 14' master bedroom and bathroom through the
"Dutch" doors. The bed, side-cabinets and large wardrobe were locally
crafted from teak and caoba (local hardwoods), as are the doors and
windows. The en-suite 7 ½’ x 5’ bathroom (not shown) has a large shower,
toilet and pedestal wash basin.
