Day 1 : Arrival - San José

Arrival to Juan Santamaría International Airport
One of our representatives will meet you at the airport baggage area and assist you through customs. We will then provide transfer to your hotel in San José for your first night in Costa Rica.

Day 2 : The Best of Costa Rica 4 in 1 Tour

First stop at the famous Doka State coffee plantation where you'll enjoy a typical Costarican breakfast, visit the beautiful coffee plantation, the mill and the roast room.
As you continue your trip to Poás Volcano you'll get to view from your car window coffee plantations, flower and fern nurseries and strawberry fields. You'll notice a change in temperature and in the surrounding vegetation, preparing you for the pleasure of the exuberant cloud forest in the Poás Volcano, where you will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles.
Next stop on the itinerary is La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a natural park where you will walk spectacular trails to the White Magic Waterfall, the most spectacular one in the area. You will also visit the largest Butterfly farm in the country and an impressive hummingbird gallery. A buffet style lunch is included at La Paz. After lunch, continue to Puerto Viejo of Sarapiquí and get ready to enjoy a relaxing boat trip down the Sarapiquí River. Then head back to your hotel in San José.

Day 3 : San José - Arenal

One of our representatives will pick you up for a private transfer to the Arenal area.
One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is what you will find in this area. The flawless silhouette of Arenal Volcano, its loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava and ash are a sight not to be missed by any visitor to Costa Rica.

Day 4 : Arenal

Arenal 4 in 1 tour (Safari Float + Waterfall by car + Arenal Hike + Hot Springs)
For the first activity the Safari Floating tour, then, La Fortuna Waterfall which is about 70 mts. high. After this, lunch is served in La Fortuna. At around 3:00 p.m. the guide will take you to the Arenal Volcano national park for a hike and explain about the natural and geological history of the area. Last, a relaxing bath at the Hot Springs, and a delicious buffet style dinner.

Day 5 : Arenal - Monteverde

This morning service is on a minivan - boat - minivan transfer, a scenic ride through the Arenal Lake to Monteverde Cloud forest area. Duration 2 1/2 hours
Arenal Lake is the largest and the most important lake in Costa Rica, it was man made in 1974 to provide hydroelectric energy for the country. It is also a place where you can find different kinds of resident and migratory birds. Sometimes mammals can be seen in the surroundings, also great views of the Arenal Volcano when it's clear. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most outstanding wild life sanctuaries in the tropics. This high elevation rain forest offers miles of trails with excellent opportunities for bird watching.

Day 6 : Morning Walkways, Insect Museum and Hummingbird Garden tour

These Tree Top Walkways are the best system of suspension bridges that exist in Costa Rica. The bridge system is located along a 1 .7 mile trail designed to be walked by people of all ages and consists of 8 suspension bridges going 90% through primary cloud forest. In the Insect Museum, you can observe more than 50 species of butterflies from different altitudes and climates on a guided tour. In the Hummingbird Garden the visitor can observe more than 14 species of hummingbirds surrounded by waterfalls and natural floral arrangements.

Day 7 : Monteverde - Manuel Antonio

After breakfast, private transfer will be provided from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. Duration 4 hours approximately

Day 8 : In the morning enjoy the pool and amenities at the hotel and later take the afternoon Catamaran Coastal Adventure.

Morning to visit the Manuel Antonio National Park or stay at the hotel around the swimming pool. The hotel provides shuttle service to the park; you just need to pay the park entrance fee.
Afternoon private transfer will be provided to San Jose. Duration 3 1/2 hours
