Your itinerary would be as follows:
Day 01 (Arrival /San
Jose)
A representative
from Costa Rican Trails will meet you at the airport and will provide
transportation to your city hotel, for your first night in Costa
Rica.
Overnight at El
Rodeo Country Inn, 01
Double Standard room, breakfast included.
Day 02 (San
Jose-Palmar Sur-Drake Bay) Early morning pick up at any
San Jose hotel and transfer to the airport for a
domestic flight South to Palmar Sur. There, your client proceeds by
local taxi for a 20 minutes drive to Sierpe where a boat trip starts down the
Sierpe River to the Drake Bay area
(approx. 2 hours).

According to
National Geographic, the South Pacific region of Costa Rica is
"the most biologically intense place on earth". The Osa Peninsula
with Corcovado
National Park is home to more than
400 species of birds and more than a hundred species each of amphibians
and mammals. This tropical humid primary forest, more than 40,000 hectares
of protected land, is home to monkeys, scarlet macaws, coatimundis and
other wildlife. Even ponderous Humpback Whales can often be seen breaking
the surface of the water in their season of migration (December and
January). This is paradise found for nature lovers!.

Day trip to
Corcovado
National Park. This
National Park has a great range of biological diversity and has attracted the
attention of tropical ecologists who wish to study the intricate workings of the

(Caño Island) Snorkeling gear
included.
Day trip by boat to Cano Island Reserve. Time to relax
and swim, or hike through the island. This 300 ha island is known for its
Indian cemetery and also known for its coral reefs and a variety of marine
life. Even ponderous Humpback Whales can often be seen breaking the
surface of the water in their season of migration (December and
January).
Day 06 (Osa Peninsula – San
Jose)
After breakfast,
transfer by boat and taxi to Palmar Sur and flight back to San Jose. (B). Upon arrival, transportation to the
hotel is provided.
Overnight at El
Rodeo, 01 Double Standard room, breakfast included.
Day 07
(Departure)
Transportation to
the airport is provided.
