Playa Dominical beach is 35 km from San Isidro El General (Pérez Zeledón), the highway that crosses The General's valley to the south and from where beautiful views can be contemplated. You can also arrive to Dominical from Quepos on the coastal road of about 40 km.

Dominical is a long beach of sedimentary sand of brownish tones with good waves to go surfing. If you want to swim, you should be careful since it usually has dangerous currents. After two hours of horseback riding from Dominical, there are the Nauyaca waterfalls. It is two waterfalls of 65 meters whose temperate waters fall into a small lagoon. At the beach Dominicalito, to the south of Dominical, are good waves for the surfers. It is recommended to swim at low tide as it allows you to see the coral rocks on the bottom.
