Volcán Turrialba Horseback Riding

After being picked up at the varying hotels we will take the road toward to the Turrialba Volcano National Park where we will journey approximately 4 hours by horse to the highest point of the volcano, we will leave the horses to take a small hike in which we will explore the volcano’s three craters from inside. This is the only volcano in Costa Rica where you will be able to walk inside the crater.
The Turrialba Volcano is Costa Rica’s second highest volcano next to Irazú. The Turrialba Volcano was called “Torre Alba” or “white smoke” by the first Spanish settlers. It is an important source of work due to the surrounding’s cultivation of large quantities of vegetables as well as its traditional production of dairy products.
