Poás Volcano:
Poás Volcano National Park features two impressive craters: one active and one that holds a lovley Crater Lake. The massive active crater often has sulfuric smoke rising out of the boiling, muddy lake on its bottom, while the beautiful crater lagoon is surrounden by dwarf vegetation and lush cloud forest, with species of birds and plants native to the volcano. The road to the park passes quaint villlages, coffee plantations, dairy farms and spectacular views, and when finally in the park, you will be surrounded by lush , uniqye vegetation.
Sarchí:
Sarchí is the cradle of Costa Rica's handiwork, where the famous painted oxcart - symbols of Costa Rica folklore - are still made, using traditional methods.
Sarchí's workshops also produce thousands of items carved from the fine tropical hardwoods, leather and textiles.
The route to Sarchí passes through picturesque small towns like Grecia, with its unique metal church.
