This incredible tour starts with a night in a small hotel in San José. The next day a bus will pick you up take you to a beautiful suite in the hotel Talolinga with a breahttaking view over two beaches of the luxury resort Flamingo. Here you will spend 4 nights during your three days of diving. (This hotel is not yet finished and this is the reason why we can offer you this gorgeous deluxe suites with air condition, ceiling fans balcony and kitchenets to this incredible price) There is room for 4-6 people in each suite. A short walk away you can enjoy a beautiful small almost private beach, dancing, restaurants, shopping tennis, casino, the famous white-sand beach of Flamingo and the marina where your diving adventures will start.

Barbara and Harald, that own the only PDIC-Instructor Training & Certification Center in Costa Rica with more than 13 years of diving exerience and over seven years of diving near the Catalina Islands will be your hosts. The Catalina Island chain is a series of rocky outcrops, 2-8 miles from the coast. These islands are volcanic and only a 15-20 min. boat-ride away from Flamingo. It is host to many species of marine life including the Giant Manta Rays, Stingrays, Sharks, Moray Eels, Barracudas, Sea Turtles and a variety of schooling tropical fish which you will not find anywhere else.

Experienced instrucotors and divemasters will accompany you to some of the 35 dive sites. Visibility can vary from 20 to 80 feet on the same day and even the same dive. This is due to plankton and other marine organisms in the warm (75-85 degree), nutrient rich, tropical water. The dives will be around volcanic rock formations at 60 to 70 foot depths. After three days of diving you have a chance to enjoy the nearby beaches in the afternoon a bus will take you back to the same hotel in San José.
