Playa Hermosa, next to Jaco, is the most consistant break in Costa Rica, with normally Southern swells in the Costa Rican winter time, and is good from June or July through late November (our winter).   Swells are from the North when you get winter in the norther hemesphere, summer for us, and then it's good then from December to March.   Ronald Reyes in the barrel of Backyard Break, Hermosa Beach.
