There is a "Provisional Membership" category, with a fee of U.S.D. 100.- per year. Members with legal residency status in Costa Rica pay U.S.D. 50.- per year Membership entitles to all information and services. The Spouse of a member is $ 10.- per year. Once you are a provisional member, we can apply for residency status. ARCR members pay the following fees in U.S. Dollars: Pensionado or rentista $ 735.- for the "titular" primary applicant. Inversionista $ 1000.- ,less for shareholders in some qualifying companies. Dependent's documents $ 365.- for a spouse and $ 155.- each child. Half of the total is payable on application and the balance when legal status is completed. Prices include attorney fees, translations from English and all government stamps. ACRC provides detailed intructions on how to handle documents from your country of origin, as well as what must be done in Costa Rica.
