How to Enroll |
2. Upon receipt of your registration you will be sent an initial confirmation and invoice. 3. You will be asked to pay a deposit of US $200 by check or money order to our bank account: 4. Your deposit will be deducted from your total course and lodging fees. 5. You will pay the rest of the fees upon arrival at the school on the first course day. In case you have enrolled through an agent you pay the full fees to our representative. 6. We shall send your accommodation details approximately 3-4 weeks before the course starts. 7. Postponement and Cancellation: Cancellation must take place in writing, either by fax, e-mail or registered letter. If we receive your cancellation until no later than 14 days prior to the beginning of the course Academia Tica keeps US $100 to cover administrative costs. The remainder will be reimbursed. Should you make a fresh registration during the next six months following your cancellation, the school will consider the $100 as an advanced payment for the new application. If you cancel 7 days until no later than 1 day prior to the beginning of the course, you will be invoiced for 50 % of the total course and accommodation costs. Should you cancel on the day the courses starts you will be invoiced for 75 % of the total Course and Accommodation fees. 8. Early Departure: Academia Tica does not refund fees for either Course or Accommodation to a participant leaving the school before the course ends. 9. Students should take out an international health insurance valid for Costa Rica. General travel insurance is advisable, particularly against leaving the course for health reasons. 10. Age: The minimum age for group courses is 17, for individual tuition the minimum age is 18 years. |
