How to Get There:

Driving from San José take the Florencio del Castillo Highway to the Southern Interamerican Highway. From there, enjoy the great climate as you drive through the beautiful high mountains of fog-shrouded Cerro de La Muerte, highest pass on the Interamerican Highway, until you reach kilometer 80, where you take a detour to the right for 9 kilometers on an unpaved road, finally reaching the slopes of the Savegre River and the Trogon lodge.
