| You don't ever have to rough it here !! There are six private guest rooms, each having it's own spacious bathroom, hot water shower, and fan. The tile floors and baths add a luxurious touch. The custom made doors are uniquely carved by a local craftsman and a creative artist has done some lovely mural work on the insides of the rooms. The furniture, which includes armoires, tables, chairs, and queen sized beds are a mix of bamboo, wicker, and indigenous woods. You don't ever have to rough it here if you don't want to. A solar power system supplies plenty of power for lights, fans and 110 volt outlets. A satellite telephone is also available for your convenience.

| There is also an observation bar !! The rooms are kept cool and quiet by the concrete construction, 10 foot high ceilings, and lack of direct sunlight. The second story has the kitchen, covered deck, lounging room with stereo and a large library specializing in natural history and Costa Rica in particular. An artistically crafted spiral staircase in the kitchen leads to the open-air observation deck where the breathtaking vista can be zoomed in on using a high powered telescope. There is also an observation bar here as well as under-roof seating for your dining pleasure. Part of the deck is open to the sun and all is surrounded by a beautiful balustrade of natural driftwood. The cascading hot tub overlooks the flora and the sea. The Lookout Inn includes a spacious deck in front of the guest rooms for lounging or candlelit dining, a massive wooden staircase that spans from the new deck down to the gardens and beach below, a spacious private bungalow separate from the main house, and a cascading hot tub that overlooks the views of the gardens.
