Manuel Antonio

How to Get There:

The trip takes approximately 3 hours driving from San José. When leaving San José take the main Pan American highway (Carretera Interamericana) going North towards Puntarenas. The highway will pass the Juan Santa María airport. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town (pueblo) called Atenas. There is a sign that reads Atenas / Orotina / Jaco. Take this exit and continue driving for about 2 hours following the signs to Jacó. You will pass the entrance to Playa Jaco, continue driving straight for about 1 more hour, following the signs to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Once you arrive at Quepos continue driving for 5 Km forwards until you see the signs for Manuel Antonio National Park, on the left side of the main road, 1 Km before the main entrance of the park you will see the unique Mediterranean white casitas and the sign of Casitas Eclipse.
