| Warm up, before you go to the killer waves !! Jaco's a great place to have fun warmin' up before you go for the more killer waves at Hermosa or Escondida. It has a small beachbreak with nice left and right peaks that tend to close out when the waves start gettin' overhead. You can surf the whole beach, so it's usually not too crowded. The people here are surf friendly, and the hotel staff is really great. Another good reason for staying here - they have the best point break right out in front of the hotel.
