Manuel Antonio
The trip takes approximately 3 hours driving from San José. When leaving San José take the main Pan American highway (Carretera Interamericana) going. The highway will pass the Juan Santa María airport. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town called Atenas. There is a sign that reads Atenas / Orotina / Jaco. Take this exit and continue driving for about 2 hours following the signs to Jacó. You will pass the entrance to Playa Jaco, continue driving straight for about 1 more hour, following the signs to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Once you arrive at the town Quepos continue driving following the signs to Manuel Antonio. Gaia Hotel & Reserve is located on the main road from Quepos to Manuel Antonio. Once you have reached Quepos, proceed 2.7 kilometers or 1.7 miles on the Manuel Antonio road and you will have arrived.
