Villas Corcovado is on the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve / Park, on the Peninsula de Osa, or Osa Peninsula. Villas Corcovado is between the Corcovado National Park and Las Esquinas and Piedras Blancas National Parks and Reserves.
The climate / weather at tends to be a little warm and humid as we are located at sea level. Our average temperature is 26C, but the villas ambiance is wafted by light coastal breezes.
Regarding the Corcovado National Park / Reserve, through years of research, biologists have declared this area to be a migratory path of animals traveling between the different national parks of the Southern Pacific Coast. The Mesoamerican Biological Corridor in kown to be the most biologically diverse places on the planet.
Eco visitors to Villas Corcovado will view a wide variety of species of animals including, frogs, snakes, butterflies, pizotes, sloths, macaws, parrots, toucans,, hawks, and others. We have jaguars here also, but they will probably not be seen.
