Fulfill your dream of horseback riding along deserted beaches, surfing Caribbean waves, or delight in scuba diving or snorkeling in the tranquil and majestic bay of Punta Uva. There are many more activities: you can kayak on the river and ocean, explore the canopy at the top of the trees, take a quad across the forests of Talamanca or visit butterfly or iguana farms, botanical gardens, the museum of Caribbean culture and the ecological cacao workshop.

At the hotel´s "Rancho" restaurant guests will enjoy creative tropical flavours combined with the savoir-faire of the French tradition. Start with a heart of palm and avocado salad, follow with Lobster "a la Normande" and end with a delicate mousse de mango.

Puerto Viejo

How to Get There:

Puerto Viejo, Limón
From San José, the trip lasts about three and a half hours. Take the Braulio Carrillo highway # 32. Continue driving through Guápiles, Siquirres, Matina until you get to Limón City. Just before arriving downtown Limón you will pass through a cemetery. Continue through this road for 1 km until you see a sign on your right to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. Turn to the right and drive through the coastline road passing Cahuita, Hone Creek and finally Puerto Viejo. We do not recommend driving through the Braulio Carrillo Highway at night since it gets foggy and visibility is very limited.
