How to Get There:

Papagayo, Guanacaste
The resort is set on the tip of the Gulf of Papagayo, 37 miles (60 km) from Daniel Oduber International Airport, and 127 miles (204 km) from San Jose. Driving from Juan Santamaria International Airport is going to be approximately a 5 hour drive. Take the Inter American Highway towards Liberia passing San Ramon, Esparza and Cañas. When you get to Liberia drive until you see a Burger King restaurant and make a left at that intersection and continue driving passing the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From there, drive approximately 5 miles (8 km) on Highway 21 West, and make a right at the Do It Center. Continue on this road towards the resort for approximately 16 miles. The Four Seasons Resort is at the end of the road after entering the Gulf of Papagayo. It takes around 4 1/2 to 5 hours to get to the resort.

    At Four Seasons, you enjoy a unique vantage point from which to explore the sights, sounds and experiences around you: Coco Beach, explore Nicaragua (about 6 hours driving), Palo Verde Wildlife National Park, Parque Nacional Rincón de la Vieja and the natural hot springs at Borinquen. Conference Rooms Guanacaste Ballroom The Guanacaste Ballroom can be divided into two intimate spaces - Guanacaste Verde and Guanacaste Oro. The ballroom's pre-function area opens onto a shaded terrace and the outdoor event lawn, with views of the Pacific Ocean. Ballroom Pre-function Area Directly outside the Guanacaste Ballroom, this pre-function area is filled with natural daylight and opens out onto a spacious terrace, overlooking the lawn with views of the Pacific Ocean. Ballroom Terrace Adjacent to the Guanacaste Ballroom pre-function area, this covered terrace can accommodate up to 110 people for a reception and opens onto the Event Lawn. Poás, Arenal and Irazú Rooms These rooms are equally suited as an elegant venue for post-meeting socializing, a gala dinner, or a special event. It opens up to a covered terrace and onto the large Event Lawn. Meeting Room Terrace This covered terrace is adjacent to all three meeting and function rooms - Poás, Arenal and Irazú, and can accommodate up to 170 people for a reception; opens onto the Event Lawn.

    Papagayo
    A variety of seafood dishes combined with local ingredients makes a balanced, nutritional and distinguished menu. A children's menu is also available.

    Congo's
    Food selections include sandwiches, salads and grilled local fish. A variety of vegetarian dishes and an inspired selection of nutritionally balanced, healthier fare are standard offerings on all menus.

    Events and promotions
    Congo's opens select evenings for dinner theme nights, including a Brazilian Churrascaria and Seafood Fair.

    Di Mare
    The dinner menu changes daily and features the Executive Chef's finest creations. A variety of Italian and seafood dishes and an inspired selection of nutritionally balanced fare are offered on all menus. A children's menu is also available.

    Caracol
    For lunch, the restaurant serves a selection of gourmet sandwiches, Panini, burgers, light salads, tempting snacks and the Chef's daily specials. After 6:00 pm, Caracol transforms into a casual steakhouse. Prime cuts of meat, hearty appetizers and home-style desserts highlight the dinner menu.
