One Room Cabins
The cabinas can accommodate couples or small families. Each one has capacity for 2-4 people. Each of them is fully screened and has a private shower, queen and single beds, hammocks and with good ventilation on the warm days and nights. No tree was cut down to build the cabinas. You can sit on your porch and have a good chance of seeing wild monkeys climbing in the nearby trees and hear the orchestra of jungle sounds without leaving your chair. Have a set of binoculars in hand, and you can spend hours bird watching.

La Vainilla
La Vainilla is a 2 story deluxe cabina built on a spectacular spot overlooking the forest and ocean. La Vainilla comes with two bedrooms, queen bed and private bathroom in each one. The upper floor is beautifully open to the incredible view of the underlying ocean while the bottom floor is screened. Hardwood decks and hammocks let you enjoy your most precious time. The Vainilla is the preferred cabin for honeymooners and couples looking for a romantic spot though it can also accommodate small family as it has a capacity for up to 5 people.

The Casa Osa
With a capacity for up to 10 people Casa Osa can comfortably host large groups and families. It is a delightful and comfortable 2 level house, with 3 bedrooms, 1 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Completely screened with 2 bathrooms it has forest and ocean views. The upper forest deck is perfect for observing, writing, meditation, yoga, painting, relaxation or birding. The ground level has a comfortable patio lounge.

Casa Poniente
The newest lodging option with deluxe suites and ocean & forest view rooms.
This spectacular two-storey ocre-colored house with 6 bedrooms is the latest addition to El Remanso. Upstairs there are two deluxe suites with a king bed, private bath, covered terrace and solarium. The ground floor has 4 large bedrooms, each of them with a queen or single beds, private bath and a covered terrace. Two of them have ocean views, the other two are oriented towards the forest with a private small garden in front of them. The bedrooms are roomy, comfortable and elegant. Decorated with soft and mild colors, these rooms provide the perfect space for relaxation, conversation and observing.

El Remanso Lodge also offers a big variety of activities, most of which can be done on the lodge's private reserve. Those offered outside of the lodge's grounds are done with reliable and responsible local tour operators.

We serve fresh caught mahi mahi, snapper and tuna caught by the local fishermen, avocados, papayas and mangoes just picked from the tree and delicious exotic fruits. Delicious deserts, a big variety of red and white wines and fresh juices will round out your culinary experience.
