Turrialba
Turrialba, Cartago, 5 miles before the Turrialba Volcano crater
Our access road is restricted to 4 wheel drive vehicles and we have kept it that way intentionally. Take the Pan American Highway South, to Cartago. Once you arrive Cartago at Las Ruinas, turn left and go one block north to Avenida 4, turn right and continue driving east all the way through town until you reach a Y just after calle 16. Turn left after the Basilica de los Angeles and continue driving for 19 mile (31 km) towards Irazú Volcano, following the signs. You must turn left before Cot and right before Tierra Blanca (if you reach either of these two points you've missed a turn). Follow the signs to the hotel.
