How to get here...

Monteverde is located 172 Km northwest of San José. Take the Interamerican Highway north about 150 Km. Then, take the gravel rod at a right hand turn just before crossing the Rio Lagarto, and continue on for another 40 Km to the Trapp Family Lodge.
