The Carribean Conservation Corporation (CCC), a scientific conservation organisation set up by Dr. Archie Carr in 1955, is located in this biological corridor. This station has a laboratory, meeting room, toilets and bedrooms. Access to this corridor and to the station is by river along the Tortuguero channels or by light plane from San José or Limón. For more information on the activities of the CCC call 224-9215.
