Costa Rica is a small country !!
I’d rather go by bus. ~ Prince Charles, age six, when asked if he was excited about sailing to Tobruk on the Royal Yacht.First, the good news: Costa Rica is a small country that allows you to travel from the Central Valley down to either coast in a short amount of time. That puts many eco-adventure destinations within easy reach, even for day-trips.
T he bad news is that some roads, especially in more rural areas, can be a trial. More good news is that Costa Rica has an excellent bus service as well as inexpensive domestic flights to remote corners of the country. Consequently, the best mode of transportation depends on where you’re going, when, and for how long.
