If you are looking for lodgings ...
If a man does not keep pace with his companions,
perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music which he hears,
however measured or far away.
~ Conclusion, Henry David Thoreau, 1817-1862
If you are looking for lodgings more intimate than a hotel, Costa Rica offers
an ever-growing number of alternatives. Perhaps a home stay with
a Costa Rican family or in-the-rough camping sounds good. But don’t
overlook some of the exquisite small hotels and inns we mention throughout
the book – many of them boast tranquility, intimacy and charm, without
the impersonal nature of a large hotel. In fact, the lack of large, cookiecutter
hotel chains insures most Costa Rican accommodations have distinct
personalities. And that appeals to us.
On this website we carry information of about 500 Hotels etc. Bed & Breakfast have a B&B behind the name.
