On Central Standard Time !!
Measure twice, cut once.
~ carpenter’s rule
Costa Rica remains on Central Standard Time year-round.
Weights, measures and temperatures are metric. Gasoline is
sold by the liter and distances are measured by kilometers.
Dates are expressed with the day first, followed by the month. For example,
Christmas Day is written 25/12. Often, hours are posted in military
time, a 24-hour format. Two in the afternoon is 14:00, 10 at night is 22:00.
If you’re confused about it, simply subtract 12 hours from the time given
after noon until midnight.
