Jurassic Jungle

Travel back in
time on this VIP Airsafari. After departing San Jose you are flown over
the beautiful Manuel Antonio national park, witnessing breathtaking
beaches and tropical humid forest. Enjoy the flight as we continue
down the pacific coastline over Dominical and Punta Uvita.
Descending into Golfo Dulce, witness the beauty of this zones
beaches, coves, and rainforest covered hills. After overflying
Puerto Jimenez, we enter Corcovado national park on the Osa
Peninsula, crowned by national geographic as being one of "the most
biologically intense places on earth". After observing vast tracts
of virgin rainforest, deserted beaches, and the environmentally
sensitive laguna Corcovado, we are off to the Cano Island biological
reserve. Flying low from the Osa Oeninsula, we arrive at this island
in a scene reminiscent from the movie Jurassic Park. This island is
home to a diverse variety of bird and marine life, also a favorite
spot for diving. After circling Isla Cano we track north returning
to San Jose via Manueal Antonio and Parrita.

The Quest for

VIP Airsafari summarizes the natural wonders of Costa Rica and
neighboring Nicaragua in one complete flight. Depart San Jose with
an overflight of the Poas volcano. As we continue flying north over
the Guanacaste Cordillera witness Costa Rica's most famous cinder
cone volcano, Arenal. View the other volcano's of the cordillera
including Rincon de la Vieja and Orosi near the Nicaraguan border.
Entering Nicaragua we start our descent towards Lake Nicaragua, home
to the only species of freshwater shark in the world. From a
distance see the active Conception and the dormant Maderas volcano's
that make up Ometepe island, after flying around the island also
witness the town of GSrenada on the shores of the lake, one of the
oldest towns in the western hemisphere. |

Sit back and
relax as we bank westwards to overfly the famous resort town of
Montelimar and south along the coastline over San Juan del Sur and
Golfo de Santa Elena. As we reenter Costa Rica we give you a beach
tour that you will never forget, including Golfo Papagayo, Coco,
Flamingo, Conchal, Playa Grande, Tamarindo, where we land for lunch.
After lunch and a little relaxation we depart Langosta,
Nosara, Samara, Carillo and Punta Islita, returning to San Jose via
the west pass.
